H2 Photographic Society
Paul Major got in touch to tell us all about their club!
What is your club/society all about?
We provide a hub for local photographers to meet, exchange ideas and share experiences in their mutual love of photography. We have a continuing schedule of speakers and practical evenings.
Who is your group for?
We are an inclusive club that genuinely welcomes photographers of all ages, cultures, genders and backgrounds. If you want to improve your photography, we would enjoy the privilege of showing you.
When and where do you usually meet at Much Hadham Village Hall?
Thursday evenings at 7.30 pm. We have a hybrid programme meeting at Much Hadham Village Hall and virtually over Zoom on alternate weeks.

How long has your club/society been running, and how long have you been at the Village Hall?
Our club has been in existence since the 1960s, and we have been based in Much Hadham since 2019
What can someone expect if they come along for the first time?
A friendly, non-judgmental greeting. Plenty of assistance to create the images they wish to by way of experienced tutors and encouragement to experiment.
Do people need to book in advance, or can they just turn up?
They can just turn up, but do check our weekly Newsletter to ascertain if we are meeting in person or virtually.
Is there a membership fee or session cost?
There is no subscription for non-members (we charge a small fee for attendance at Much Hadham Village Hall). It’s free for all for our Zoom meetings.
